Nonwovens are structures of textile materials, such as fibres, continuous filaments, or chopped yarns of any nature or origin, that have been formed into webs by any means, and bonded together by any means, excluding the interlacing of the yarns as in woven fabric, knotted fabric, laces, braided fabric or tufted fabic. Film and paper structures are not considered as nonwovens.
Characterists of Polyester Spunbond Nonwovens
Because of its tight pore structure and rigid physical properties, polyester spunbond nonwovens have superior strength, stiffness and purity. It is often used in contructing pleated filters that are excellent in surface filtration of dust and easy release of the collected particulate. It also has good chemical, heat, wrinkle, mildew and abrasion resistance. The materials stay crisp and resilient when wet or dry and can be washed repeatedly.
